VILLAGE OF STEELEVILLE, IL

SPECIAL ORDINANCE NUMBER 2011-01

An ordinance appropriating for all corporate purposes for the Village of Steeleville, Randolph County, Illinois, for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2011 and ending April 30, 2012

BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Steeleville, Randolph County, Illinois.

SECTION 1: That the amounts hereinafter set forth, or so much thereof as may be authorized by law, and as may be needed or deemed necessary to defray all expenses and liabilities of the municipality, be and the same are hereby appropriated for the corporate purposes of the Village of Steeleville, Randolph County, Illinois, as hereinafter specified for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2011, and ending April 30, 2012

SECTION 2: That the appropriation herein made for any purpose shall be regarded as the maximum amounts to be expended under the respective appropriation accounts and shall not be construed as a commitment, agreement, obligation or liability of the Village of Steeleville, and such appropriation being subject to further approval as to expenditure thereof by the Village Board.

SECTION 3: That the amount appropriated for each object and purpose shall be as follows:

FIRE DEPARTMENT ~ $233,500
PARKS AND CEMETERY ~ $73,500
POLICE DEPARTMENT ~ $570,000
STREET DEPARTMENT ~ $2,562,000
SENIOR SITE ~ $213,000
LANDSCAPING AND SANITATION ~ $334,000

WATER AND SEWER DEPARTMENT
WATER AND SEWER EXPENDITURES ~ $547,000
WATER DISTRIBUTION EXPENSES ~ $60,000
WATER PRODUCTION (WELLS) EXPENDITURES ~ $160,000
SEWER EXPENDITURES ~ $219,500
TOTAL WATER AND SEW EXPENDITURES ~ $986,500

TIF DISTRICT 1 ~ $325,000
TIF DISTRICT 2 ~ $103,000

SECTION 4: This Appropriation Ordinance is adopted pursuant to the procedures set forth in the Illinois Municipal Code.

SECTION 5: That if any section, subdivision, or sentence of this ordinance shall e deemed invalid, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance.

SECTION 6: That a certified copy of this ordinance shall be filed with the County Clerk within 30 days after adoption.

SECTION 7: That this ordinance shall be knows as Special Ordinance 2011-01 and is in the amount of $6,282,000 and shall be in full force and effect after its passage, approval, and publication, as provided by law.
